Flowers For ISIS - By Carroll Bryant

FLOWERS FOR ISIS - By Carroll Bryant

A poor mans Hillary Clinton
Another Obama wannabe
No, wait! It's another bored monkey
Or a 21st century make believe hippy

Everybody seems to live for the chance
To tell someone else what to do
Or put them down
I'm a democrat and my shit doesn't stink
Tell them how to live their life like a clown

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For communists

A white house painted black
Another wasted presidency
No, wait! It's a dog day afternoon
Holding hostage all of our normalcy

Everybody seems to give their advice for free
In the snarky way that they can only give it
And still put you down
I'm a democrat and my farts are environmentally green
Best I've ever smelt or you have ever seen

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For the communists

They want an education that money just can't buy
Still blaming Bush and friends for everything
While sitting back and doing nothing
They can't wait to give you their best alibi
I think they've gone completely mad or absolutely crazy
Still blaming Fox and Friends
Nuts to the stupid end

A poor mans Hillary Clinton
Another Obama wannabe
No, wait! It's another bored monkey
Or a 21st century make believe hippy

Still blaming the previous administration

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For the stupid communists
Socialists
Flowers for the terrorists

Secrets Of My Songs #13 (Whispers Wind)

"Whispers In The Wind" was another "little sister" inspired song. The inspiration came one night while I was driving her and her best friend - at that time - home after gymnastics practice. The two girls were in the back seat talking about a boy my sister liked but never revealed this to the boy in question. Eventually, I just asked her, "So why don't you just tell him you like him?" And was that ever a foolish question. Her response was swift and direct. "I don't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship if he doesn't feel the same."

Okay, that kind of made a little bit of sense. But only a little bit. However, after dropping her friend off and getting my sister home, I ended up reflecting on that conversation later that evening and before you know it, I penned the words for the song with the music playing in my head. It also became the first song I ever worked on or had recorded in the studio. When I decided to start doing my songs and I had to pick the first one, this one was really the only one I could consider to record first.
