Okay, that kind of made a little bit of sense. But only a little bit. However, after dropping her friend off and getting my sister home, I ended up reflecting on that conversation later that evening and before you know it, I penned the words for the song with the music playing in my head. It also became the first song I ever worked on or had recorded in the studio. When I decided to start doing my songs and I had to pick the first one, this one was really the only one I could consider to record first.

Secrets Of My Songs #13 (Whispers Wind)
"Whispers In The Wind" was another "little sister" inspired song. The inspiration came one night while I was driving her and her best friend - at that time - home after gymnastics practice. The two girls were in the back seat talking about a boy my sister liked but never revealed this to the boy in question. Eventually, I just asked her, "So why don't you just tell him you like him?" And was that ever a foolish question. Her response was swift and direct. "I don't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship if he doesn't feel the same."
Okay, that kind of made a little bit of sense. But only a little bit.
