Nightclub Massacre: America In Distress

As I sit and watch the reports of the nightclub massacre in Orlando, Florida, I start to wonder why and how such a thing like this continues to occur in this country. Believe it or not, once upon a time, America was bad ass. Things like this never happened in this country before. Not to this magnitude. So how and why is it happening today? That is the question. The answer is right there in front of all of our faces. We just can't see it. Or can we? Maybe we see it but are too coward to do anything about it. Only when I listened to all those interviewed from this tragic event did the answer finally strike me in the head .... and in the heart.

This is all of our fault. America and Americans are to blame for these kinds of attacks in our country. We have brought this onto ourselves. In a way, we deserve these attacks because we are doing nothing to prevent them. Not one damn thing.

1) First off, I am looking at the lack of care we give to those who suffer from Mental Health Issues. Oh sure, we have 'Obamacare', and it costs out of the ass to pay for every month and the deductibles are outrageous, and we have to pay for things that we don't even need or use, but nowhere in it does it do a damn thing for "Mental Health Issues".

You see, I sometimes keep my handgun on the kitchen table. It lays there loaded. And while it sits on the table, it hurts no one. In my hands, it continues to hurt no one - unless I ever need to use it to protect people from a madman. Yet, if someone with mental health issues puts that gun in their hand, a school full of kids or a movie theater of people could end up getting shot and or dead.

We need to address mental health issues in this country and we need to do it fast. There are people out there who need counseling and they need to be on some kind of meds. And until we finally address this issue, and address it seriously, incidents like what happened in Orlando, Florida and other places across America will continue to occur.

2) We also are failing to destroy ISIS. (And other terrorists groups) And because our current POS president does not take a more serious approach to this issue. The lone wolf attacker(s) like the one in Orlando, Florida and the attackers in San Bernardino, California, will continue to happen, just like Donald Trump has predicted it would.

By not destroying ISIS and other terror groups, we allow them to recruit and encourage the sick minded to go on killing sprees. By wiping them out, we take much of, if not all of, that inspiring notion away. These lone wolf attacks would dwindle greatly with the destruction and total elimination of ISIS and other terrorist groups. But for some reason, our president chooses to do nothing except to refer to them as "JV Team".

My gun that sits on the kitchen table hurting no one would hurt many if it landed in the hands of a terrorist. Lucky for us that is not the case.

3) Border security is lacking in America. Anyone and their grandma can waltz right on in, bringing drugs and or weapons into this country. We are vetting nobody. Not even refugees. And on top of this, we are not deporting illegals either. We are not even deporting the illegals who are criminals! They can come into this country and kill as many Kate Steinle's as they want, and it seems that nobody gives a shit about it. Why is that?

And why am I the least bit surprised? Why would anyone be surprised for that matter? I mean, we can't even seem to do anything about all the gang crime in Chicago. Nor can we even stop the thuggish criminal protestors outside a Donald Trump rally. The cops almost don't even do anything to protect people from these horrible monsters. They stand by and watch them commit their crimes in broad daylight like their watching a reality TV show for Christ's sake. And hardly anyone is ever arrested.

This is stupid.

My gun continues to sit on the table hurting no one, but let an illegal immigrant or gangster put that gun in their hand and people would probably get hurt.

4) The worst part about all of this violence is, there are actually many places in America, and I'm talking towns, cities, and states that absolutely will not allow their law abiding citizens to protect themselves. Can you believe it?

Many millions of Americans are nothing more than sitting ducks for criminals to gun down, and lets face it, that gunman in Orlando, Florida had plenty of time to kill 50 people and wound 53 more because nobody in that crowd or nearby had a gun to protect themselves with.

You see, sometimes I walk around and or drive with my gun close by. I refuse to be anyone's victim. I aim to protect myself 100 percent. If anyone decides to go on a shooting spree with me around, they will get met with return fire. And I would gladly risk my life to save others if it ever got down to that. But I am protected and no politician will EVER take that away from me for as long as I am alive - that I can assure you.

So you see, when I look around and wonder why and how we have become targets, it doesn't take a genius to understand it is because America - for some strange reason - refuses to do the things it needs to do to protect themselves from these types of situations. And all of the things I have mentioned are the things we need to do to put an end to these mass shootings.

America and Americans have become - basically - one big pussy. One huge coward. That or we are all just a bunch of stupid idiots because we will not take the measures we need to take to end this violence. And honestly, I don't believe the democrats want the violence to stop. It appears to work right into their wheelhouse of abolishing the 2nd amendment of our constitution. And quite frankly, nothing could be more dangerous for Americans than to take the guns out of the hands of anymore law abiding citizens. We can't continue to be "sitting ducks".

We have to address these real issues if we want to put an end to these mass shootings. And it would also help if certain stupid people would stop making the claim that global warming is our number one threat. It isn't. Our number one threat in America is ISIS / lone wolf attackers, illegal immigrants, refugees that haven't been properly vetted, gangs, people with mental health issues, and unprotected law abiding citizens.

To be more honest, I am done mourning the loss of life from these mass shootings. I mean, if the politicians don't care, and the people themselves don't care, then why the hell should I care? I am only going to stay focused on protecting myself and the people around wherever I may go. But if Americans are not going to actually address the real problems then why should I mourn the death that comes about from these unsolved problems? I just can't drop another tear for the stupid and or the weak. I can't. I'm all dried up. I have no more sympathy left for those who refuse to protect themselves and allow the politicians to keep them from protecting themselves from all of these dangers - that if what I mentioned above got addressed, these incidents would stop occurring. But I don't expect too many of you to understand this. This kind of intellect may be more than many of you can handle. And this is why I can't feel for you anymore - you simply do not do anything to protect yourselves.

And for the life of me, I can't figure out why. 

It is not the gun that sits on my table that shoots and kills people, it is only when that gun is in the hands of an evil mind will it hurt anyone. A gun in my hand and or a law abiding citizens hand will protect from these types of mass shootings. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will only put more Americans in more danger. 

Then again, maybe that's the ultimate goal of the democrats - to take away everyone's guns and make us all sitting ducks for the criminals, the terrorists, the illegal immigrants, and the mentally ill. 

I got my protection. Do you?

In The News: Malala Yousufzai

Taliban gunmen in Pakistan shot and seriously wounded on Tuesday a 14-year-old schoolgirl who rose to fame for speaking out against the militants.

Malala Yousufzai was shot in the head and neck when gunmen fired on her school bus in the Swat valley, northwest of the capital, Islamabad. Two other girls were also wounded.

Yousufzai became famous for speaking out against the Pakistani Taliban at a time when even the government seemed to be appeasing the hardline Islamists.

Doctors were struggling to save Yousufzai, said Lal Noor, a doctor at the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital in the Swat valley's main town of Mingora.

If you believe in God, pray to that God for Malala's recovery while she fights for her life. And pray to God, Allah, the prophet Muhammad, whatever you believe in to bring swift and harsh punishment to the cowardly bastard who shot her and two other children, and to bring all cowardly Taliban terrorists to justice. These cowardly bastards have no heart or soul or respect for life. They are nothing but a bunch of murderer's and evil pricks that need to be stopped.

I'm sorry, but when I read this earlier, my heart sunk and my anger showed itself. I have been trying to understand this madness all day. I have even cried for this young, beautiful and innocent child of peace and her friends.

We are pulling for you sweet Malala. Hang in there. You are in all of our hearts.

In The News: 32 Killed in Bus Accident in Mexico

MEXICO CITY: At least 32 people were killed in Mexico on Sunday after the bus they were traveling in turned over on a wet road in the Southwestern state of Guerrero, a red cross official said.

At least seven people were injured and believed to be in serious condition., the official said.

This isn't why I posted this article. Accidents like this occur everywhere, everyday. It is unfortunate to say the least. What prompted me to post this was of some responses this article recieved. It nearly broke my heart. I was compelled to ask the question, "Why are we so cruel?" because some of the responses were horrible.

One person responded: "No tears shed here. I think all Mexicans should be loaded up on buses and shipped back to Mexico." - My response to this is, first of all, this happened in Mexico, not America. secondly - REALLY? This is how we look upon our fellow man? This is horrible, just horrible. It saddens me greatly that we as human beings can be so harsh and heartless. These are people who were killed. Their life gone. Their loved ones having to move on without them. And all some evil person has to say is, "Ship them back to Mexico?" - It really is sad to know that there are people in the world like this. It is very disturbing. And the horrible comments didn't stop there. There were worse comments than that. I only posted the least offensive one.

Hey everyone, we are all stuck on this planet together. Wouldn't it be better if we all just got along and tried to help one another? Human to human, country to country? I think it would. And this coming from some one who could easily have a grudge against Mexicans because of my recent events, but I elect not to judge a race of people based on one person. There is good and bad in every culture. I just think we can do better as a human race and show a little sympathy when sympathy is required. Just my thoughts.

Love is always better than hate. Friendship is always better than hate. In fact, anything is better than hate. Hate only gets in the way of progress. It doesn't matter our heritage, skin color, sex, sexual preference, religion - what have you. We all bleed the color red. We all cry white tears. And when you get right down to it, we're all in this world together. Let's try and make the best of it, shall we? ... Peace to all.

In The News: New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg

WOULD NY's SUPERSIZE SODA BAN WORK?

Okay, here we go, an article right up my alley. There is talk right now about NY Mayor, Michael "Communist" Bloomberg wanting to ban supersized cups for soft drinks.

"What‘s next?" asks the industry-funded Center for Consumer Freedom, in response to a New York City plan to forbid the sale of sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces in restaurants, sports venues, and movie theaters. "Limits on the width of a pizza slice, size of a hamburger or amount of cream cheese on a bagel?" Mayor Michael Bloomberg defended his idea Friday, assuring Matt Lauer of the Today show that "we're not banning you from getting the stuff. … It's just if you want 32 ounces, the restaurant has to serve it in two glasses. That‘s not exactly taking away your freedoms."

Sorry Mayor, it is TAKING AWAY OUR FREEDOMS. (And the start of taking away more later.)

It didn't take long for the details of this putative public-health measure to dissolve into a super-sized debate between Libertarians and Liberals, soda jerks and health nuts. But before we all start pouring it on about the costs of obesity and an apartheid of pleasure, let's consider the scientific facts—contested or otherwise—that led Bloomberg to propose his soda-size control in the first place. Would the pint-cup cutoff reduce obesity, or not?

The answer is a clear cut NO! It won't reduce obesity. And this is why.

First, they said the same damn thing about tobacco back in 2000. "If we get people to stop smoking, health care costs would drop. Tobacco is the reason our health care is out of control in America and so expensive." And that was later proven to be a big COMMUNIST lie. Our health care problems in America is worse than what it was 10 plus years ago so we know that "tobacco" had nothing to do with it. It wa sjust a way for "get rich quick" lawyers and politicians to take away more freedoms of the American people. They are saying now what they were saying back then in that - "You people are too stupid to live healthy so we have to force you to do it."

Did it ever occur to you "do-gooders" that I don;t give a good fuck about living healthy? Maybe all i want to do is live HAPPY! And smoking makes me happy. But some of you nitwits out there can't stand that, can you? You want me to be as miserable as you. well, it;s not going to happen!

Secondly, This is just another ploy by the communists of our country to take away more of our freedoms. Our constitution has been under attack big time since about the mid to late 90's. These so called "progressives" who think that us everyday Joe's are too damn stupid to do "what they want us to do" and when we don't, they force us.

Thirdly, obesity is not a "food consumption" problem. It is a "technology" problem. If I were a young man of 8 or 9 years old and had a computer, a laptop, an ipod, an ipad, an X-Box, DVD player with DVD's to watch and a smart phone and .... you get the picture. Then I wouldn't want to go outside and play anymore either. Especially after politicians and the fucked up media scares my parents into thinking that everybody outside of my yard is a freaking pedophile. I'd be sitting on the couch all day too, stuffing my face with Dorito's and donuts. (Getting fat)

It is the responsibility of the parents to make sure they feed their kids properly and make sure they get their exercise and all that crap. And what parent chooses to feed their kids is their own damn business. And what adults want to eat and drink (regardless of the size of the God damn cup) is their own damn business also.

Mayor Bloomberg, I cannot tell a lie, you are a communist with a capitol "C". And anybody else who supports taking away more FREEDOMS OF CHOICE from the American people.

It's not going to even make a dent in the obesity problem and it never will. You lied to us about tobacco being the health problem ten years ago, "Progressives" - now you lie about this. Now you point the finger at this as the problem. The only problem we have in America is the democratic and republican parties. And their need to control the American people with lies and fear and greed. And their desires to take away more and more of our "rights to choose for our own damn selves" until we have no more choices left.

Sorry if the truth hurts. Wait! No I am not sorry you communist pigs.

And do you want to know why I know this is nothing more than a plot by politicans to take away your freedom of choice? It's because of the hypocrissy of it. That being - that Mayor Bloomberg endorses the "hot-dog" eating contest they hold every year. This soda cup ban has nothing to do with "health" issues - at least not for Bloomberg, it's all about taking away people's right to choose. End of story!

No, seriously, this is the end of the story.

"Your First Amendment rights can be terminated," yells the Chicago police officer, caught on video right before arresting two journalists outside a Chicago hospital. One, an NBC News Photographer was led away in handcuffs essentially for taking pictures in a public place.  He was released only minutes later, but the damage was done. Chicago cops suffered an embarrassing "caught on tape" moment, and civil rights experts who say cops are unfairly cracking down on citizens with cameras had their iconic moment.

Any questions America about who the REAL enemy is in our country? Trust me, this is not an isolated incident. It is happening all over America. This is how your "police" really think. And your government. (Politicians) - Think about it.

Calif. kids can have Happy Meals, judge rules

Children in California will still be able to get toys with their Happy Meals.

A San Francisco judge has dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit that sought to stop McDonald's Corp. from using toys to market its meals to children in the Golden State. The suit had been filed in late 2010 by Monet Parham, a California mother of two, and The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer advocacy group based in Washington, D.C.

The suit had claimed that the world's biggest hamburger chain was violating consumer protection laws and exploiting children's vulnerability by using toys to lure them to eat nutritionally unbalanced meals that can lead to obesity. The lawsuit did not seek damages.

McDonald's spokeswoman Danya Proud said that the lawsuit was without merit and detracted from "the important issue of children's health and nutrition."

"We are proud of our Happy Meals and will vigorously defend our brand, our reputation and our food," Proud said in the statement. "We stand on our 30-year track record of providing a fun experience for kids and families at McDonald's."

The Center for Science in the Public Interest said in a statement that it will discuss with Parham whether to appeal the case. The group called the use of toys to market food a "predatory practice that undermines parents, causes rifts in families and harms kids' health."

The suit, filed in the county of San Francisco, was dismissed by Judge Richard Kramer on Wednesday.

Finally! Commonsense is starting to prevail here. That and democracy. Had this ruling been the other way around, I was sure we were heading head first into communism.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Toys in happy meals are not the problem for obesity. Hell, not even eating the occasional unhealthy food. The biggest contributor to childhood obesity is technology.
We keep inventing ways for our kids to sit in front of a TV all day playing video games to the point that they don’t want to go outside and play and get some exercise.

I also blame the media for thrusting panic into parents about letting their children play outside to begin with what with all the “sex” predators on the loose. It just doesn’t happen as often as the media would like for you to think that it does.

There were sex predators when I was young too but I didn’t let that stop me from going out and enjoying myself. The thing to remember is, the government, the laws, they aren’t going to stop horrible things like that from happening. Life is not a right by rule of Mother Nature. The best anyone can do is just live it while you have it because nobody is going to live forever. And yes, it is sad when someone doesn’t get to live it fully to a ripe old age because of somebody else or what have you. Which is why everyone should cherish it when you wake up in the morning, you never know if it will be your last one.

Still, the law of nature is simple, some are lucky and some are not. That’s just the way it is. The one thing you shouldn’t do is live in fear. But we do. Well, most of us I think.

When people talk about the economy and wonder why it’s so bad, the media and the government want to point the finger at Wall Street and bankers and the housing market. And they are half right. But what they don’t want to tell you is the other half truth and that is: All the billions of dollars we have wasted with useless programs like the sexual predator registry.

This program does nothing to stop, halt or prevent anybody from doing anything. But it is a very expensive night light. It’s kind of like when your child is scared of the dark so you buy him or her a 2.00 dollar night light. It makes them feel safe from the boogey monster. But you and I both know there are no such things as boogey monsters. (Just very bad and disturbed people) Still, that light won’t save the child from anything. And that is what the sexual predator registry law is, a night light. A very expensive night light, but a night light none the less.

We spent billions of dollars on it and for what? … Now, The Amber Alert, Megan’s Law, these work I think.

Then look at all the billions of dollars we lost when this country went to war on tobacco. A product that actually built this nation. A product that actually freed us from the British during the Revolutionary War. Without the money from tobacco, we would not be America. But look at all the tax dollars our government lost.

The proponents said that the reason health care was so out of whack was because of tobacco products. Of course, we now know that wasn’t accurate, was it? Never let it be said that communists play fair. They don’t. The trick is: Being able to think for yourselves and let PEOPLE decide for themselves if they want to smoke themselves into lung cancer. And in fact, did you know that cancer patients have increased as smokers have decreased?

Figure that one out.

Now our country’s infrastructure is falling apart without that sweet tobacco tax. And from all the businesses that went away because of it. Banning smoking from restaurants, gas stations, drive thru’s that relied on the sales of beer and tobacco that went belly up. And in Ohio, that’s exactly what they did. I saw it coming. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who did. So many companies went under, jobs lost, less tax dollars, and then we got “tricked” into two wars. This was the real beginning to our current government fiscal problems on local levels and federal level. And if we do not reverse our mistakes then we will not recover anytime soon from it. Don’t be misled, we are not recovering now either. Sure, it’s getting a little better in some places, but the worse of it is yet to hit us. Not to worry though because it’s coming.

Meanwhile, this is a victory for the kids and their right to have a toy with their hamburger and fries. Now, if only we can get the parents to understand that McDonald’s isn’t for eating every single day of your life. Cook your kid a healthy meal once in a while and for goodness sakes, restrict their time on the freaking X-Box. Make them go outside and freaking play.

Oh, and don’t talk to freaking strangers. (Unless of course they’re looking for their lost puppy)

Grandmother to face capital murder charge in girl's running death

GADSDEN, Ala. -- Alabama prosecutors say they are filing a capital murder charge, which carries the possibility of the death penalty, against a grandmother accused of running her 9-year-old granddaughter to death as punishment for eating chocolate.

I don’t know if any of you saw this in the news, but it simply broke my heart. The story had a picture of this little girl and she was so adorable. Then I shake my head and wonder. I wonder why some people in this world get the gift of child and then turn around and treat them like animals. Less than animals.

The kid was caught eating chocolate and so the punishment was that her mother and grandmother made her run around the yard non-stop for hours but also, while carrying a ten pound log. They made her run until she dropped. Dropped dead.

Both, the mother and grandmother are locked up and awaiting trial. The grandmother faces multiple charges of involuntary manslaughter, child abuse, endangerment, while the mother faces child endangerment charges along with accessory.

Very sad.

While I don’t yearn anymore for a wife situation or marriage, I don’t think I would mind at all to raise a child. (By myself) I would even probably give adoption some very serious considerations only, a single man would never be allowed to adopt. That’s because the media has made just about every man look like a pedophile.

All I do know is, if these two ladies didn’t want to raise that little girl, they could have always have sent her to my home. At least she would be alive today and very happy and very loved.

Very sad.

Teacher Leaves Wife, Kids for High School Student
Last year, Jordan Powers was just another student from Mr. Hooker's class. Now she's his live-in girlfriend.

Okay, who hasn’t read about this yet? I know it has fired up Nancy Grace and friends, that’s for sure. And just for the record, I think the world would be a much better place without Nancy Grace and friends. Just saying.

I am not one to judge. That’s just me. But I am sure a lot of people are going to be (and may already) judge this man. It is not I to try and understand why this young lady would want to be with a 41 year old man at the age of 18. I say, it is all about daddy issues. And her father passed away when she was nine years old. Bingo! (I like being right)

Another reason I can’t judge this man is because I have a tendency to draw or attract young females. Obviously, 18 is my limit and I would never dip under that age. I will not go to jail for dating.

Anyhow, I understand for most it is not too easy to hold back from judgment here. I mean, not only the age factor I suppose is enough to get the crowd jumping, but he was her teacher, her educator. There is a certain responsibility that goes along with that. Well, you would think anyway, but we are also dealing with human beings here. With that, a complex array of emotions.

By nature, older will always be attracted to younger. A scientist discovered the reason behind it in the mid 1990’s. (It is in the genes) I forget what he specifically referred to it as but in short, it has something to do with fear of growing old, fear of death and the natural instinct for the species to survive. We might call it middle-aged crazy or whatever, but it is in the human DNA structure to envy youth.

Back to my point of posting this.

I don’t want to really get into the morality of this mans actions. Or the daddy issue of it all on her part by any means. Here is my beef. (Or would be my beef if I were a tax payer in California.) Authorities want to investigate their history to see if they engaged in unlawful sexual activity before she turned the age of 18.
Really? That’s what you want to do California? You want to waste time, money and resources for this?

I understand fully the mother of the girl and her anger. But we don’t know the full story here between her and her daughter. Maybe her daughter hates her mother and poor mom can’t deal. Can’t let go. She has been making a lot of noise about it. I haven’t heard a peep from the mans wife and kids. She took the quiet road.

Still, the state of California is broke. Flat broke! They have financial troubles coming out of the ying-yang. If I were a tax paying Californian, I would be in fits about spending my tax dollar to try and find out if these two had sex before she turned 18. I mean, at the current standing, they are both consenting adults now. So what if they had some hanky panky in the past? They are together now and apparently, they are happy. Let it go.

This is exactly the issue I address in my book, LAST FLIGHT OUT.

Authorities have three years to find this proof and begin prosecution of this man before the statutes expire, but let’s just say for the sake of argument they do find this so called proof, what then? You spend untold amounts of money investigating, then prosecuting him and then how many more millions for the few years he may get in prison that you will spend on this guy and for what? If when he gets out, he and this girl get back together? They resume their happiness and the state of California is worse financially then when it started.

Who really wins here?

I say, let it go authorities. Is it really worth the millions you are spending and will continue to spend to teach a lesson to the teacher? Keeping in mind, of course, he isn’t gonna learn anything to begin with. Nor this young lady. Is it that you want to make an example of him? Really? Couldn’t you better make a better example of taking your money and resources and applying them maybe, say, I don’t know, maybe go after a man who is having sex with a ten year old or something?

I know it’s a bitter pill to swallow when you realize that maybe somebody slipped one by you, but maybe this time, California, you just might want to cut your loses and move on to the next one. Even if you do discover what you’re looking for, is it really worth the price to pay in this economy? In your economy?
